Conservation of the Amazonian marmosets (2017–present)

Project leader. Overall goals: (i) to create and to establish a framework for the conservation of 16 primate species of Mico and Callibella genera in southern Amazonia and (ii) to raise the awareness and facilitate the engagement of conservation stakeholders towards the protection of marmosets and forests thru the adoption of our conservation framework.
Best Practice Guidelines for the Management and
Conservation of Primates in Fragments (2018–present)
Multi-institutional project – lead by L. Marsh and colleagues
General co-editor, co-coordinator of the Brazil section and collaborator in the sections of Genetics, Conservation, Modelling and Translocation. Overall goal: to develop a global guidelines of best practices for research, management, and conservation of all primate species with populations living in forest fragments.
Houseboat Amazon (2016–2018)
Global Conservation Institute & IDSM – lead by L. Marsh
Manaus Support and local coordinator. Overall goal: to search for Pithecia vanzolinii, collect data on its distribution and ecology, as well as to understanding local ecological knowledge and traditions related to use of forest resources in order to assess the impact on biodiversity.
Programme for displacement of Golden-headed lion tamarins Leontopithecus chrysomelas invasive in the area of occurrence of the Golden lion tamarins L. rosalia in Rio de Janeiro (2012–2014)
Multi-institutional project – lead by C. Kierulff / Instituto Pri-Matas
Coordinator of reintroduction and post-release monitoring. Overall goal: to reintroduce and to monitor in situ populations of Golden-headed lion tamarins Leontopithecus chrysomelas in southern Bahia, Brazil.
